In this post, we explain how to show the Switch User option in Windows 10.īefore we do that, here’s a quick summary of what the Switch User feature does. If you are having the same problem, you’re in good hands. This issue is widespread, and many Windows 10 users have been complaining about it. One day, you try to switch user accounts only to find out that other users don’t exist. This way, each account won’t interfere with the personal information and applications of other users. You created different user accounts so that each user can log in separately and work on their files and applications. When it finally started up again, I found that it is still not allowing me to access my power settings from start.Picture this scenario. It took a while to boot up again, as it stayed stuck on the getting Windows ready message. After trying with command prompt, I restarted the computer by signing out of my user, and choosing to restart the pc. I also tried using command prompt to restore default settings. I tried troubleshooting power settings, I uninstalled Visual Studio in case the installation was messed up and causing the corruption. i opened the start menu, clicked on the power options, and it showed me a message saying there are currently no power options available. When I got done with my days work, I went to put computer to sleep. The Visual Studio program finished installing, and I continued with my day. When I started my computer up again, it seemed to be working smoothly. The computer screen proceeded to go blank anyways.Īfter about 20 mins of blank screen, I decided it was time for a hard reboot. It got to a point where the installation needed me to restart the pc, but since I was in a meeting, when the pc asked if I would like to cancel or restart anyways, I hit cancel. The program is Visual Studio (IDE for Windows). It all started when I was installing a program for one of my classes. I am having some trouble with my Dell Inspiron with Windows 10.
